My life’s work is centered around one thing: helping people. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to live a healthy, purposeful, and meaningful life, and that experience inspired a deeper mission — helping others create the same clarity and fulfillment in their own lives.

I’m grateful you’re here, and excited to walk alongside you as we build a more intentional and happier way of living.

Meet the Founder

Hi, i'm riley king

my storymy story

Everything begins with conversation. Ask meaningful questions, listen without ego, learn from their experiences, and then do the honest work of applying those lessons to your own life.

Questions about who you are, what truly matters to you, how you define success, and what actually leads to happiness as we continue this beautiful adventure called life.

Over the past several years, I’ve been asking those questions through sport, business, relationships, and life beyond achievement. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to learn not only from my own experiences, but from conversations with athletes, founders, leaders, and high performers navigating the same pursuit: building a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.

The most powerful thing I’ve learned so far is simple…

Every chapter of life leaves a mark. Some teach discipline. Some bring success. Others force perspective.

What follows isn’t a highlight reel—it’s the experiences that shaped my understanding of identity, performance, and the kind of life worth building.

Family has always been my foundation. Growing up as the youngest of three boys in Missoula, Montana, I was surrounded by strong role models from the very beginning. I learned early the importance of commitment, support, and showing up for the people around you.

As our family has grown, so has my gratitude for the unwavering love and grounding they provide. Family continues to shape how I lead, how I listen, and how I define success, not by what I achieve alone, but by the quality of the relationships I protect.

FAMILY

Where everything began.

Sports have been central to my life from an early age. My dad was a former Division I college football player who instilled a deep love for competition, discipline, and preparation, spending countless hours coaching my brothers and I. Out of high school, I accepted a full-ride basketball scholarship to Carroll College, where I earned a starting role and was named Conference Freshman of the Year. That same year, I was drafted in the 24th round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals and chose to pursue professional baseball.

After three seasons in the Royals’ minor league system, I returned to college on a full-ride basketball scholarship at the University of Montana Western. There, I served as team captain, started for two seasons, and completed my Business Administration degree in just three total years of schooling.

Since stepping away from competitive sports, my focus has shifted to health, fitness, and the daily habits that compound into long-term performance and fulfillment. Fitness remains a cornerstone of my life and the foundation of a sustainable, high-performing lifestyle.

In 2020, I relocated to Nashville and began my career in residential real estate. The results came quickly. I earned Rookie of the Year, sold over sixty million dollars in volume, and ranked among the top producing solo agents nationally.

On the outside, it looked like success. On the inside, it raised new questions. I saw firsthand how easy it is to chase achievement, metrics, and validation while slowly disconnecting from clarity and presence.

This chapter taught me an important truth. Performance alone is not the goal. Without intention and alignment, even success can feel empty.

Real estate

High performance without fulfillment.

Mental health matters now more than ever. In a world of constant information, comparison, and pressure to always do more, slowing down has become essential, not optional.

In March of 2021, my dad was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. That moment fundamentally changed my perspective. It was the first true heartbreak of my life and a powerful reminder of how fragile and precious our health truly is. Since that diagnosis, our prayers have been answered in countless ways. His treatments have been successful, and he continues to do incredibly well.

That experience reshaped how I viewed success, happiness, and purpose. It clarified what matters most and sparked the vision for King & Co Performance. This work exists to help others build clarity, prioritize well being, and live with intention in a world that rarely slows down.

Mental health & purpose

The shift that changed everything.

FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS most

This work isn’t about doing more or pushing harder. It’s about creating internal foundations that allow success, fulfillment, and happiness to be sustainable over the long term.

SUCCESS THAT LASTS

High performance means nothing without clarity to support it. King & Co exists to help people slow down, ask better questions, and build a strong sense of identity before chasing the next goal.

CLARITY BEFORE PERFORMANCE

WHY KING & CO. EXISTS

If any part of this story resonated, it’s likely because you’ve felt it too.

Wanting more from life, but not at the expense of your health, relationships, or sense of self.

This work exists for people who want to live and perform at a high level while staying grounded in who they are, what they value, and what actually matters.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about building clarity, self-awareness, and intention so success can be sustainable and life can feel fulfilling along the way.

Why This Matters

If you’re someone who wants to live and perform at a high level without losing yourself in the process, this work was created for you.
